Stop repeating yourself: one message, everyone reached

Why the same announcement gets sent three times in most teams, and the simple change that fixes it.

Ask any manager how they tell the team something important and you'll hear a list: a group chat, an email, a note by the till, and a reminder at the morning huddle. Four channels, four chances for the message to be missed, and no way to know who actually saw it.

The cost isn't the minute it takes to paste the message again. It's the follow-up — the 'did you see my message?' round that eats an hour of everyone's week.

Say it once, in a place that expects it

An announcement should live somewhere your team already opens every day, at the top, above the chat. Not buried in a thread that scrolls away by lunchtime.

That's why Home in Zenivo opens on announcements rather than chat. Chat is for the conversation. Announcements are for the things that must land.

Make reading it visible

The 'Got it' button does more work than it looks like it does. For the reader it takes one tap. For you it turns a hopeful broadcast into a list: who has confirmed, who hasn't.

Chasing three people is a two-minute job. Chasing the whole team because you can't tell the difference is not.

Keep the answers out of the announcement

Most announcements attract the same questions. Put the answer in a knowledge base article once, link it, and let people read it at their own pace — and let the built-in helper answer it in writing when they ask in their own words.

Announcements then stay short, which is the only reason anyone reads them at all.

Zenivo puts all of this in one app

Announcements with confirmations, team chat, guides, surveys and — on the paid plans — phone numbers, a shared text inbox and a company mailbox.
